WMCF Summer Classic

This is the 1st Annual WMCF Summer Classic In-house Competition!  Join us to celebrate our 5 year anniversary and our 1st in-house comp!

Teams of 2 (MM, FF, or MF) will complete in 3 workouts to claim the title of Fittest Team in the Box!

The competition is divided into three divisions:

  • Rx (both athletes use Rx standards)
  • 50/50 (1 Rx/1 Fun)
  • Fun (both athletes use Fun standards)

After the competition, join us for our Anniversary Party!  We will provide hot dogs and a keg.  Please bring anything else you may want and a side to share.

No refunds under any circumstances, after purchase registrations may be transferred if needed.  Once checked-in on the day of the event team rosters are final.

WMCF Summer Classic WODs

Event #1 – “Double Fran”

2 rounds for time of (12 min cap):
21-15-9…
Thrusters (Rx – 95/65, Fun – 45/35)
Pull Ups (Fun – Jumping Pull Ups)

Workout Description:

Partner #1 performs 21 Thrusters, then Partner #2 performs 21 Pull Ups, then P1 performs 15 Thrusters, then P2 performs 15 Pull Ups.  Continue this rotation through the set of 9’s, then switch and repeat where P2 performs the Thrusters and P1 performs the Pull Ups.

Score is time to completion.  A one second penalty will be assessed for every repetition not completed.

Event #2 – “Pick it up and Row it out”

For time (15 min cap):

Part A
3000m Row (switch every 500m)

Part B
Complete as many rounds and reps as possible of…
50 Ground to Overhead (Rx – 135/95, Fun – 95/65)
50 Box Jumps (Rx – 30″/24″, Fun – 24″/20″ w/ Step Ups allowed)

Workout Description:

Non-rowing partner works to complete reps on the AMRAP.  Both parts of the workout stop when the team reaches 3000m.

This will be scored as two separate workouts.  Score for 2A will be time to complete 3000m or total distance if unfinished.  Score for 2B will be total repetitions completed in the AMRAP.
